Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll play an important role in the daily operations of our warehouse by receiving, organizing, picking, packing, and shipping seed products. You’ll help maintain inventory accuracy, prepare customer orders, load and unload deliveries, and ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and safe.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in staying organized, and understands the importance of teamwork in serving customers well.

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

Receiving & Inventory: 

• Receive and unload incoming deliveries.
• Inspect incoming inventory for damage or discrepancies.
• Count and verify inventory quantities.
• Label and organize products within the warehouse.
• Assist with inventory organization and inventory control.

Order Fulfillment & Shipping: 

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Build and wrap pallets for shipment.
• Load delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
• Move products throughout the warehouse using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Stage completed orders for delivery or pickup.

Deliveries & Customer Service:

• Complete local deliveries using company trucks or vans when needed.
• Communicate professionally with warehouse management and customers.
• Report damaged products, shortages, or order discrepancies promptly.
• Provide outstanding customer service while representing Mixon Seed.

Warehouse Operations & Safety:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately.
• Assist with general warehouse projects and support teammates as needed.

Warehouse Associate Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday.
• Positive work history with dependable attendance.
• Ability to pass a drug screening, background check, and pre-employment physical.

Strongly Preferred:

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience.
• Inventory or shipping experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
